Also be sure the child understands. I know it is hard to explain to a 2 year old I have 2 children myself but you can say things like you pushed your brother and now you have to sit it is not nice and don't do it again if you do you will sit again and longer. But be sure not to wait more than 1hour I don't think a 2 year old would remember any longer than that. Also if it happens again be sure to get it right away because chances are waiting isn't working. Julia

If they don't come when called--I'd stop nursing find him and put him in time out until I'm finished (he/she would have time to think about what they did) then I'd go and talk to them about what happened and how it was wrong.
